In this episode, we are joined by Tom Farquharson who has recently gone through the conversion from tennis to padel. Tom and I discuss the advantages and disadvantages for tennis players, the transitioning process, as well as the growing/transfer pains.
The one thing that tennis players (who have been taught) do, that non-racket sports players do not do is… the Split Step. When it comes to shot preparation and movement, this is so crucial. So if you come from a different sport, try to learn the split step from the moment you start padel!
